A reminder of the fact that we cannot think of restoration as an excuse for meddling with and most times &#039;tipping over&#039; complex structures created over millions of years of evolution. In recent times one hears overtly optimistic pronouncements over what science can do to restore ecosystems. By no means these arguments should be used to justify the developmental juggernaut.
